It Fails During the Storm You're Not Home For
Maintenance
Plans
in Maryland
Waterproofing systems do not fail on schedule. They fail during the storm nobody is home for.
Annual inspection of pumps, drains, seals, and discharge lines. Catches small problems before they become floods and keeps the system performing the way it was installed to perform. Honest, consultative guidance did not stop the day your system was installed.
Cheap Insurance. Real Protection.
What a Maintenance Plan
Actually Covers
An annual inspection that takes about 90 minutes costs far less than one finished-basement carpet replacement. Most maintenance visits catch one or two small things: a discharge line slipping out of grade, a float starting to stick, a hairline crack worth filling. Easy fixes that prevent expensive ones.
A small annual visit is the simplest way to protect the investment you already made in a dry basement.
The same OBW technicians who install waterproofing systems across Maryland come back every year to check the same things they would want checked in their own home. Honest, consultative guidance did not end when the work was finished.

Honest Answers
Common Maintenance Plan
Questions from Maryland Homeowners
Call (410) 879-3360 for questions not covered here, our inspectors give honest, consultative guidance.
Do I have to be home for a maintenance visit?
Preferably, yes. We walk you through the system and what we found during the visit. It is not required if access is arranged in advance, for example through a garage code or a scheduled time with someone else on site.
Is a maintenance plan really worth it?
If you have made any waterproofing investment, yes. The plan pays for itself the first time we catch a stuck float or a slipped discharge line. Both are common, easy fixes, and both become expensive disasters if missed. Annual service also keeps the system performing the way it was installed to perform.
